Validators
About Validators
In order to become a validator, you need to bond a minimum of 500 CBR. CBR coins are tied to specific validators that support the Netsbo network. For bonding coins on the network for a certain period, the validator receives a reward in NETS coins, including those collected from commissions.
The selection of a group of validators occurs in periods called epochs. Validator stakes are fixed for the epoch period. The validators themselves are selected randomly from registered users with the aforementioned number of coins. An unlimited number of validators can participate in protecting the network.
Validators do not mine coins — they validate blocks and place them on the network. In this regard, much less electricity is required to maintain the operation of the node: almost any mid-range home computer is suitable for this.
Remuneration is distributed in the following proportion:
- 90% of NETS is distributed between validators and delegators in accordance with the rules of the network;
- 10% of the coins will go to the Netsbo Foundation. The funds from this foundation will be allocated to the development of the project based on the voting results (marketing, development, and so on).
